Quetzal Bird Earrings

This is my take on a Pre-Columbian bird earring that I saw and fell in love with while studying ancient jewelry while in college. This 2 1/2” long pair are made in either sterling or hammered bronze, covered in 2 microns of 18KY gold. These are an absolutely gorgeous, attention getting pair of regal birds. Post and ear nut on back.
